Representative Lincoln Davis of Tennessee, described by Democrat Party Chair of Tennessee Chip Forrester as a "key vote" for Barack Obama, is in real trouble in the polls.
This video is making the rounds in TN-04 on youtube, showing Lincoln "Houdini" Davis as being in favor of a single-payer healthcare system.

Davis, a self-proclaimed "blue-dog" democrat, votes one way in Washington and walks a different walk back home in his district. His Houdini act must come to an end.
Dr. Scott DesJarlais, of Jasper, TN. is seeking to relieve Davis of his duties. He's a conservative physician that wants to repeal obamacare, cut government spending, and find new taxes to cut.
His website is www.scottdesjarlais.com
This guy is my congresscritter and I have to say after several direct, face to face exchanges with him he is one of the dimmest bulbs I have ever met. He has to be a "self-proclaimed blue dog" because anyone else would look at his record and just call him another Liberal.....
I’ll give him credit for at least being an honest socialist. Single payer (i.e. 100% government control) has always been a goal of the “universal health care” crowd. The monstrosity we currently have as law is designed to push all other alternatives out of the market and make it single payer by default.
There was some negative stuff out about Desjarlais a few weeks ago - about him harassing his ex-wife during nasty divorce proceedings. I didn’t see a response from Desjarlais to the attacks, but I hope he had a good explanation or the allegations about this were just muckety-muck.
This will help him with a lot of voters. We need to realize that approximately 42% of the people in this country want socialized medicine.
Tenncare is bankrupting Tennessee! Obamacare added to it will finish the job.
How in the hell can a single-payer plan (a.k.a. MONOPOLY) provide more service at less cost than a free open market? It galls me to no end to see these Democrats embrace the monopoly at every turn while they disingenuously wail against big business.

In an email I received from Davis after Obamacare was voted in, he openly stated he supported the bill. It was obvious at the townhall I attended that he was for the bill.
He said he only voted against it because the majority of his constituents were against it. It’s a pretty safe bet he got permission from Pelousy to vote “nay” once she knew she had enough votes to pass it.
Bottom line - - if We, The People make our voices heard, it can make a difference in the votes. Sometimes, our rep.s listen.
Overall, Davis hasn’t listened and I hope he’s booted out.
It sure will be nice to be able to take a break from emailing and calling all the time. I’ve heard Scott DeJarlais speak and have spoken with him a few times and he seems to be on the right track.
There was something about DeJarlais trying to get his child-support payments lowered, and that may be what you’re referring to. He did respond to it, stating his financial situation at the time as being the reason for that.
He’s not the first man to attempt to have child-support payments lowered and if that’s the worst they can come up with against him, it isn’t enough to make me not want to vote for him.
So far, he’s running a clean campaign, sticking to the issues. That says something about his integrity. I hope he’s able to continue and doesn’t feel the need to stoop to dirty politics.
Davis claims to be the conservative candidate in his TV ads. I would not call that being honest.
Obviously, Lincoln Davis’s act didn’t work.
I encourage Mr. Lincoln to come to Canada for some “free” healthcare. He may have to go on a waiting list for five years and may have to supply his own doctor/medical equipment, but hey it’s free!
