I’ve said this more than a few times, but will say it again.

Many here on FR who for some misplaced reasons do not like Ron or Rand Paul, will be singing his highest praises next spring when they see just how one vote of a real conservative plays in the US Senate.

I met, listened to, and spoke with Rand Paul at a (fairly small and closeup) Tea Party gathering in Bardstown, KY before the primary. He struck me as more conservative and less of a gadfly than his dad.

I haven’t got any problem voting for him. If he votes what he says, he will do fine.

Amen sister! I would take a Rand Paul or a Ron Paul — a Republican conservative with Libertarian leanings — any day over an old-guard, globalist party hack like Newt Gingrich. That goes for the RINOs, too.
