Paul may alienate conservatives and most independents in roughly the same way that this "videographer" Ridley may come off like a wierdo, but what Ron Paul's saying here makes a lot more sense than anything that's come from the federal reserve, congress, and the Bush/Obama administrations over the better part of the past decade or so.
Conservatives and Libertarians alike need to root out the posers in their ranks, stop obsessing over various "wedge" issues that produce more smoke than fire, and focus on enacting their core agenda.

Yes and the more mainstream conservatives understand Dr. Paul the more they’ll be willing to take his advice and get back to the Constitution.

I think Ron Paul upsets Republicans more than conservatives, actually. Republicans are very attached to the American foreign and homeland war machine and Ron Paul threatens that first love. Conservatives are more attached to the constitution.
