Today I received via first class mail a one page letter tell me in “about one week from now, you will receive a 2010 Census form in the mail.” So Robert M. Groves, Director of the U.S. Census Bureau.....don’t you think I would have figured that out when I received the census in about a week!
Geez, how much do ya think that cost to mail a letter to every friggin address in the country?
I got the same letter, what a waste of stamps.
Hey, if you can move from a blue state to a red state by April Fools Day do so. If you can’t do that move from a blue part of a state to a red part of a state do so.
If not, tell the Census Bureau how many people live at your address.
Geez, how much do ya think that cost to mail a letter to every friggin address in the country?
I got one today too. I figured it was because the current administration thinks we're stupid.
Got the same letter myself today too
In answer to your question there is a 2010 estimate: 114,825,428 households in the U.S. If the census department paid first class letter rates for this exercise in stupidity the transferred $50,523,188.32 to the U.S. Post Office FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON WHAT SO EVER! Hey but the Post Office can use the money, we only had to bail them out to the tune of $7 Billion in FY2010.
Stimulus money for the USPS.
