Just posting for information, I don't think many people know what it is and assume it is all about legalizing drugs. I know I had no idea until I read the platform. Post not intended as an insult to anyone, my apologies.
No insult taken. A lot of people associate me (and the ping list) with the (L)ibertarian party, with which I have no association. I do agree with much of their platform, but not every single word of it.
I usually encourage people that don't understand the difference (l)ibertarian philosophy vs. the (L)ibertarian Party to read up on
Classical Liberalism. Unless they are just childish morons who are intellectual arthritics about learning anything new.
It's based on 'self ownership'. Not 'smoking dope'.
