How sick and sad that Sonia Sotomayor was confirmed today by the US Senate for a seat on the US Supreme Court! Anyone who cares about individual rights and true justice has to be in despair.
Sotomayor is a racist, sexist, bigot, and lowlife. Her "identity politics" philosophy, and "wise Latina" persona, violate the Greek ideal of "impartiality before the law," and the American ideal of "e pluribus unum." She's a drop-dead enemy of civil rights and neutral, impartial justice -- the only justice that even exists.
Sotomayor reduces America to the level of savage, tribalist Afghanistan wherein the great concern is Pashtun vs. Tajik vs. Hazara vs. Uzbek. She has no respect for human beings as individuals entitled to meritorious treatment; or rule by law, not men. With her love of internecine tribal battle, and her belief in unending "identity group" civil war, she utterly rejects the Pledge of Allegiance ideal of "liberty and justice for all."
What a nightmare that this KKK-style, Hitlerite monster is likely going to be poisoning all of our lives for many decades to come!
Well that's a bit over the top, but hey - you're as entitled to your opinion as I am to mine.
The thing that bothers me the most is that she's been overturned by the very court she's now a member of. I haven't seen anyone mention that fact yet.
To me, that's the biggest tragedy of all, in all this. When in the history of this country has a "President" EVER nominated someone to the Supreme Court that themselves were overturned by the Supreme Court? I've searched the history records, this is a first.
But then alot of very disturbing, destructive Obama is doing are firsts.....
It was over on election day 2008, when Democrats gained a big majority. Sonia Sotomayor never strayed from her script and thus avoided revealing her nature to the American people. The only upside to this is that the justice she’s replacing, David Souter, is as bad as she is, so her confirmation won’t change anything.
