Many were rattled over this, and I personally took precautions, out of common sense, as I don’t trust the big gov, or anything, any of them say.
No doubt Paul is correct, and one of the few if any in D.C. that has a credible opinion.
But I still want one of those masks with the pig nose’s on it, along with secured, and highly restricted borders.

He's right when it comes to health care. We have an HSA with a $5,000 annual deductible. We negotiate with our docs and it's amazing to see the staff look at you and say "why do you care what we charge - you have insurance." We cut the cost of my wife's epidural by 50% while she was in labor but it took two years to get the billing company to realize what happened.
The best way to lower health care costs is to have the consumer responsible for some of that cost. Unless that happens we are headed for a single payer system. Then you can break your hip - just don't be over 75 and expect to get it fixed.

When government gets involved in healthcare decisions, the cure is so often worse than the illness. Very well put, Dr. Paul! But you'll have to repeat it again and again in Congress, and convince enough of your fellow congresscritters of it, if this Obama health care plan is to be defeated as it deserves to be.

You think health care is expensive now...
Wait until ITS FREE and gov't controlled.....

I voted for Ron Paul. He is dead on about government interference in healthcare, but he sure needs an audience with virologists.
He doesn't need swine flu to warm up his act. It stands by itself.
I am disappointed.

The unfortunate reality of this recent health crisis, as with any crisis, is that it presents opportunities that the unscrupulous will take advantage of, while the fearful become more compliant. Fortunately, the masses aren't as easily fooled as they once were. But that doesn't mean there isn't a host of (fearful) folks waiting for the govt to do something to save them.
For now, Obama and his fellow traveler's plan failed to meet their goals of scaring citizens into full compliance. Yet, not to be deterred by this setback, Obama and his fellow travelers, (the unscrupulous), are right now busy formulating Plan B.

I was an adult living in Paul’s district in 1976 and I don’t remember any mandatory vaccinations. Ron Paul was an excellent doctor, he should have stayed there.

Since converting our Medical Care over to Government Care the system has become overburdened, therefore, we request those over 40 years old voluntarily report for carousel on their birthday.
