It took 10 minutes of research to come to the exact same conclusion that the AIP was a libertarian leaning affiliate of the Constitution Party. I was even able to discover that bit about Wally Hickel (thanks to Wikipedia). If I can do it, you'd think the geniuses at Salon could do the same.
