Who will Ron Paul pick for his VP? (vanity)
1/22/08 | me

Most of the other candidates are out of money.

Soon it will be only Romney, McCain, and Paul.

The time is coming for them to pick their VP picks. I am willing to bet the first might happen before Super Tuesday in an attempt to get a bump.

The buzz I have heard is around the following potential picks

Mark Sanford, Gary Johnson, Judge Andrew Napolitano, John Stossel

Of them all, I think that Judge Napolitano would be the best pick, from a pure ticket perspective.

I know his foreign policy isn't popular on FR and this post will likely attract a lot of noise from a handful of people dedicated to shouting the Doctor down.

However - he is a Republican candidate, he has the funds to go until the RNC, and it will be time to announce his VP pick soon. Before anyone suggests it, it's not going to be Kucinich. ;)

So think about this - he is the only candidate left in the race (assuming Fred drops out later today, which he likely is doing), Paul is the only candidate left that is anti-amnesty, pro-2nd amendment, anti-abortion, and for limiting the size and scope of government.

Like I said - I'm hoping it's the Doctor and the Judge.

Anyone else hearing any noise?

As a rule, you're off my reply-to list, because you are incapable of polite, rational discourse.

That's OK...as a rule, I don't dignify the anti-war, Code Pink, hide-your-head-in-the-sand stance with rational discourse. It's a waste of my time.

I was addressing humblegunner, anyway. I only pinged you as a courtesy. (I won't try to explain "courtesy" to a Ron Paul supporter....again, a waste of my time.)

BTW, don't forget to thank me for my service to the country... after all, not a single 9-11 took place on my watch (1980-84), and it was the Commies I was holding off, not a bunch of goat-herders

Thank you for your service. And that's real nice of you to disdain what our troops are doing now. What a guy.

"Truer words were never spoken... He already IS President moron."

...another reminder of the dangers of crack

Let me enlighten you.

Ron Paul, the suicide monkey, is running for President now, but GW is not.

IF GW was running against Ron Paul, and IF I was supporting GW, you would have a point. Instead, you typify the insanity of Ron Paul 08'.

However, I can understand the use of diversionary tactics of the supreme idiots of American politics, Paulrhoids.

Where does your "detective" work stop? Only where it conveniently makes your made-up assertion that I bring up GW when being a critic of Ron Paul?

Did you see that I was quoting a Paulrhoid? Probably not.

“If I were threatened with a “Letter of Marque”, I would be laughing my ass off.”

Go ahead and laugh your ass off for now. But when those private contracters have you by the ankles dragging you feet first from your cave, I bet you will be squealing louder than porky pig himself.

Men's room attendant at Disneyland.

Takes a lot of courage to work there.

Bless you.

Yes, 28 years ago I signed up for the Marines because I knew that the internet would be invented, Free Republic would be started, Ron Paul would run for president, a lot of freepers would insult his followers by saying they were traitors, after which I could mockingly reply to them, pointing out the fact that this veteran supports him and is, far from being a traitor, actually deserving of thanks for my service.

You just ain't the sharpest knife in the drawer are you, my FRiend?

Schweiker was pro-life and pro-gun. He had many deficiencies but was willing to submit to Reagan's better judgment. Schweiker was the only chance to break some votes from Ford after the delegate selection was complete. The PA state RINOs were able to keep Schweiker from bringing more than a few delegates, at most, to Reagan.

It would be silly for paleoPaulie to EVER announce a VPOTUS candidate, other than third party, because he won't be needing one as the GOP will refrain from rewarding the treasonous weasel qualities that Dr. Demento brings to the table.

What is silly is you replying to a thread that has been dead for two weeks.

Getting desperate are ye?

Paul isn’t running third party, get over it. BTW, how’s your boy Rudy doing these days...don’t deny it.

There you go again, mixing me up with paleoPaulie's own Extremely Extreme Extremist. He/she was the one who supported Julie Annie. Of course, if it were not for the brain dead and the agents of our nation's Al Qaeda enemies, NO ONE would be supporting the paleosurrenderman other than the shrimpin' interests and the other recipients of his earmarks, libertoonians who just pant for officeholders who piously pose for holy pictures as pro-lifers and pro-family folk while ABSOLUTELY REFUSING to DO ANYTHING MEANINGFUL on either issue.

As to El Run Paulie running third party, we shall see what we shall see. He certainly has no business as an antiAmerican oeacecreep and social issue DO NOTHING posing as a Republican.

Let's see whether Dr. Demento is renominated and/or re-elected to Congress now that it would be so difficult for his suburban Galveston constituency not to realize what a fake, phony and fraud he truly is.

You posted on 1/28/08. Post #1 on this thread was posted on 1/22/08. Post #109 was on 1/25/08 (and just prior to mine of 1/28/08. This entire thread was only six days old when you posted and NOT dead for two weeks as you claim. Then again, connection with reality is not a strength of those who reside in paleodelusionland.

This post has far more vitality than the paleosurrenderman's unrealistic hopes of EVER being POTUS.
