Perot had crowds too. It's the same kind of phenomenon in my view. A kind of True Believer crowd. They're active, they're loud, they're passionate.
What they aren't is very many.

Unlike Perot’s crowds, Paul’s crowds are many! As I said, a small group of 100 turned into a 1,000-person throng for the Santa Monica Tea Party. Take a look at MeetUp.com; Ron Paul has more MeetUp Groups than the other Rep/Dem candidates combined. Small? I don’t think so.
