Seeing as how he would be similar to Reagan in building a strong national defense to ensure the USSR didn’t try to attack us, I think his presidency, like Reagan’s, would have likely ended with the collapse of Soviet Union. In both cases it was more a matter of waiting them out, while making sure we weren’t weak defense-wise. That is primarily what we did and what I believe Paul would have done.
If Ron Paul did Reagan’s tenure (or Reagan followed Ron Paul’s philosophy), Russia would probably dominate the Middle East.
