Ron Paul won big earlier today in Alabama. He also won big in New Hampshire this afternoon.
Dr. Paul received 208 votes (73%) for a landslide victory against Mitt Romney today at the Strafford County, New Hampshire straw poll. Romney received 26 votes. Mike Huckabee came in third with 20 votes.
Tancredo (8 votes), McCain (7 votes), Cox (5 votes), Hunter (5 votes), Thompson (5 votes), Giuliani (3 votes) and Brownback (1 vote) finished the field.
As noted earlier, Ron Paul received 216 votes for a commanding first-place finish in a straw poll today sponsored by the West Alabama Republican Assembly. Mitt Romney came in second with 14 votes.
The poll was open to Alabama residents.
Limbaugh brings Conservative thought to the masses and has done so with tremendous success. The nature of the general public and the format used demand a synopsis of complex ideas.
As for the cheer leading, thank God we have it, it works. Furthermore, the fans of Rush and most other personalities would overwhelmingly drown out a few folks screaming “Yay Ron Paul”
Is it surprising?
I'm not sufficiently familiar with the Libertarian idiology to know their beliefs about God, and how he relates to this World (i.e. their World). So I really can't comment, except to say what was displayed in this thread is either ignorance of God, mockery of God, or atheism.
Whichever is irrelevant. It was disgusting. I suppose I should do some research on the subject so I'm better armed in the future. I would expect to find no single belief is prevalent, but, who knows?
It is you who worships government. Didn't write that whatever it does is right because it is the government?
I know you aren’t, and I know there are many others who think the same way as you. You belong to the neocon faction of the right (I’m stating it as a fact, not an epithet). And that faction will be at it’s all-time weakest going into the 2008 election. Republican neocons have fallen out of favor with the public after 8 years of Bush. That’s why a non-interventionist candidate has a better chance of winning now than ever before.
Here in AZ there is some group doing ‘The Ron Paul Revolution’ with the word “evol” (Love) in fluorescent.
They put up signs all over the freeways and everyone is talking about it.
You probably think of Lavender Vidal as influential. No doubt, Vidal has a man crush on paleoPaulie because Vidal thinks of dead men as lost social opportunities and the paleopeacecreep is eager to surrender to the Islamofascisti ASAP.
Of course, the idea of Vidal having to live under Sharia law has some appeal.
You just can't give up on the "slaughter" angle can you. Well slaughter me, the originator of the "slaughter" conversation, just where I'm a "Truther".
It's easy to do. You go to my "In Forum" page and start looking.
Show where I'm a "Thruther", don't just say I'm a truther.
Otherwise you're just blowing smoke! ;|)
Yep, that's the Limbaugh school of debate right there.
Continuing this is pointless, and your time is better spent elsewhere, as is mine. See you 'round FR.
No, actually I prefer the detail work...
It does answer a question I had though. I was wondering about your abortion stance. While I too am pro life, I find it odd that you take such a stand, then seem to casually dismiss the killing of 10s of thousands as not really being a slaughter. If God has taught us anything, pro life should not stop at birth.
Perhaps I am wrong in my assessment...
Does your mother know you are up so late playing on her computer?
There is a difference...
There is a difference...
I saw he'd posted when I logged on. I didn't bother to look at them. He has nothing worthy of my time.
Oops, I forgot my courtesy ping to whom I refer. So, thoughtless of me. My bad!
