Ron Paul won big earlier today in Alabama. He also won big in New Hampshire this afternoon.
Dr. Paul received 208 votes (73%) for a landslide victory against Mitt Romney today at the Strafford County, New Hampshire straw poll. Romney received 26 votes. Mike Huckabee came in third with 20 votes.
Tancredo (8 votes), McCain (7 votes), Cox (5 votes), Hunter (5 votes), Thompson (5 votes), Giuliani (3 votes) and Brownback (1 vote) finished the field.
As noted earlier, Ron Paul received 216 votes for a commanding first-place finish in a straw poll today sponsored by the West Alabama Republican Assembly. Mitt Romney came in second with 14 votes.
The poll was open to Alabama residents.
No, he's referring to other ridiculous posts by other RP Truthers on other threads that are mindless twaddle, such as yours.
216 votes is no landslide, far from a mandate, and pathetic indeed
paul is unelectable
I want to limit the federal budget as much if not more than anyone, why do you think I am a Fred supporter. I hate being in the line at the grocery store on Food stamp or whatever it is now days. But that’s a different issue from the WOT. I happen to feel the military and our endeavors are a good investment. I will grant you that I want the execution to be better, but I’l take what we have over running home and hoping we are safe.
I want your daughter and my soon to be son around to worry about the debt, which I am willing to bet won’t be an issue, especially with Fred;-)...
PAUL is too nerdy to be Prez
Boy! Now that's original. Blackbird.
Beat it troll
Thanks for the heads up. Glad to see you are human too...
It gives me hope...
“These were NOT organized by Paul supporters.
The first poll was organized by a non-partisan tax group, the second one by the Strafford County GOP group.
NO TICKETS WERE BOUGHT by the campaign. Paul supporters care enough to come out for their candidate...”
Well it seems to have been made up:

Other than being made up, I have no problem with the poll results
Fits like a glove...
BTW your tag line a bow to Pat Paulson?
In RP’s defense, he has said repeatedly the people have to be weaned of government.
Take Social Security for instance he says to let young workers opt out and let the funds that we are using to police the world take care of the people still in the system. (I would like to see the numbers).
I think it is a lot of folks here who want to revert back to the constitution right away.
I agree with you, it ain’t gonna happen overnight.
The military is always a good investment. But that's where the Paulistas miss the boat. The military is best used off-shore, meaning in some other country so it doesn't have to be used here. They prefer it not be used so that we can 'police' here, or be used here in case of national emergency.
In a case of pure investiture (here, by an offshore enemy) that may be reality. But when we know the enemy, and know what theater they're located in, it only makes sense to occupy them there instead of here at our citizen's physical peril.
But Truthers don't see that. DUmmie them!
Thank you! :)
“216 votes is no landslide, far from a mandate, and pathetic indeed”
Here’s how it works. A bunch of supporters sit around asking themselves how they can get noticed. Somebody says, “we can win these local picnic straw polls with 40 or 50 votes and all we have to do is show up!”
It is a good strategy to get noticed and it works, as it always has before.
The flaw in the plan is that the supporters think they can claim their candidate is now significant because they won the picnic vote. They expect others to respect the picnic polls. When it doesn’t work, they get angry.
In any case, we appreciate the donations.
I find more to agree with in Ron Paul’s campaign than any other candidate. I disagree with each of the campaigns on issues, but disagree the least with Ron Paul.
Do you have individual issues to disagree about? Sure. You always will. I’m not going to discount any candidate over one issue.
I threw you babbler's a bone, gave you all this time and you didn't even catch it. Geez! Blackbird.
Can't say. A buddy from HS sent it to me in an email. I've used it ever since. It fits.
