I repeat that the USA Patriot Act is the single greatest assault on the U.S. Constitution ever perpetrated in American history.
Talk about hyperbole.

Oh, dear. I didn't even search for any other post of it.
YouTube - Ronald Reagan on Ron Paul
Great video. So good they should remake it and correct those two spelling errors in the text. For selfish reasons, I just had to post the link again.

I meant that the link didn't inline the YouTube video into my custom browser extension so it would play right here on this thread without visiting YouTube. It's because YouTube has started to use hyphens in their links, something they didn't do before. Time for a code update to my regex's.
Here's are sample screenshots of how I see FreeRepublic in my Firefox browser. This is in beta, not released to everyone at FR yet. (These links will open in a new browser or tab.)

At the bottom of the second one, you can see my Scratchpad where I keep our banner code and pinglist handy along with favorite HTML and image links. Pretty much exactly what I see when pinging all of you. That control panel is just a popup you can turn on/off via the FR Favicon down on the status bar.

Ahh, a simple correction to my text scanning regex:
- before: (<a href=")(http:\/\/)(w*\.*)(youtube.com\/)(watch\?v=)(\w+)">
- after: (<a href=")(http:\/\/)(w*\.*)(youtube.com\/)(watch\?v=)([0-9a-zA-Z-]+)">
Now I'm playing the video right in this FR thread again.
[P.S. I'm trolling for Javascript coders...]

Can America survive a Ron Paul presidency? Thankfully we’ll never have to find out.

LOL. Not at all. Very far from it. This is yet another of the dozens of single-issue voter groups that back RP because he’s the only one who has ever backed them.

Ron Paul is Pat Buchannan with out the Irish charm. He has NO chance of getting even 1% of the vote. Without the proping up of the Anti American nut jobs at Moveon.org et al who thinks he is a wedge in the Conservative base, he would not even be a blip on the radar screen

You sure seem awful worried about a guy who has no chance.
What is it about Congressman Paul that has all you Big Government Welfare State RINOs so worried?
