An Abortion Free American by January 2005 May 14, 2004

I am Michael A. Peroutka and I am running for President on the Constitution Party ticket. I am 100% pro-life, all nine months, no exceptions. In fact, I am so pro-life, that if elected I promise that abortion will end my first day in office.

As President, I would advocate a total ban on all abortions and a total ban on any federal funding of abortions, here or abroad.

As President, I would do everything in my power to end the national disgrace of abortion, starting with a formal acknowledgment of the legal person-hood of every child from the moment of conception. I would appoint U.S. Attorneys – by recess appointment if necessary – who will enforce the Fifth Amendment requirement that no person be deprived of life without due process of law.

It is, by the way, within the power of the President to end abortion tomorrow, as I would do my first day in office. Don't let alleged "pro-life" Presidents tell you differently. The President has an obligation under Article IV, §4 to ensure to each member State that it will be republican in form of government. Any action that is not republican in form will be utterly resisted to the grave if necessary under a Peroutka Presidency. Abortion was made "legal" (more correctly, the prosecution of abortion was made illegal) in these United States by judicial fiat, which is anti-republican in form and in violation of the Separation of Powers and Article I, §1 of the Constitution vesting all legislative power of the Federal Government in the Congress. In an American form of government, "all laws which are repugnant to the Constitution are null and void." Marbury v. Madison. Most certainly, anti-Constitutional court decisions are not binding.

Thus, under my presidency, Roe v. Wade will not be enforced, and the member states of the Union could again open their criminal codes and begin the prosecution of the doctors and parents who would contract for the murder of an unborn child without fear of reprisal from the Chief Executive.

If you think George Bush is the best person to be our President than you are the one living in the "dream world". I'm not saying he isn't a honorable guy, but come on....

Yes, he is the best of the two candidates who have any chance of winning. The CP candidate, at best, can only be a spoiler.

oh my gosh, I scrolled down so quick I missed this... "abortion is taken as a Constitutional right per Roe V Wade" Read the Supreme Court's OPINION on Roe V Wade. An OPINION is not a Constitutional right, nor does an OPINION overule a State's laws

oh goodie, the magic "spoiler" word...LOL!!! Let's see what is the best way to use my vote? vote for a person who has a decent chance of winning or vote for a person who values/morals/ideology I agree with??? Toss around "spoiler" all you want; I prefer to use my vote in a resposible fashion.

Vote for the easter bunny...it's the same thing as voting for someone who makes claims they know they couldn't keep.

in this short time tonight, you have convinced me that you should become the "poster boy" for reasons to have an intelligence test in order to go into the polling booth... Put the Democratic and Republican party platforms side by side without the titles and no one could tell them apart by their "principles". The same can be said for the candidates being offered up by those same parties. Continue to vote CWOJackson for these two if you want, if either one actually embodies the values you have.

Wally, you know you're really short changing yourself. You say you want to vote for a candidate that best agrees with your principles, then why are you wasting your vote on the CP candidate. You should simply write your own name in on the ballot then you will have voted for your perfect candidate.

interesting thought...wacky,simplistic,unreasonable... but interesting. I would rather vote for a actual candidate for the office, someone who has actually campaigned across the country/state, someone who actually has the qualifications to serve in that office.... but thanks for your suggestion

"what got us '8 years of Clinton' is the fact that he got the highest % of the votes; period. I'm more than happy to vote for the person who I think is the best for the job as opposed to the lesser of two evils."

1992 Presidential Election results:
Clinton - 43.0%
Bush - 37.4%
[3rd party candidate] Perot - 18.9%

I'm 'more than happy' to cast my vote in a way that is best for America.

You'd rather cast a vote that will result in JFKerry being president. Period.

'An OPINION is not a Constitutional right, nor does an OPINION overule a State's laws'

It is when that opinion is that of the Supreme Court.

Roe v Wade overode state laws. Come on. You had to be alive at the time all restrictions on abortion at the state level were overturned. You do know that was the effect o the ruling, right?

If the Supreme Court ruled that flag burning is a protected form of speech, the president couldn't ban it either.

The CP is the fastest growing party in the US. >>>

A party with 11 members that loses one and gains one every week has a growth rate of 10%.

Start with a small enough base and you can say that "X is the fastest growing Y in the US" about just about anything.

Conservatives have only one place to go: the GOP. Stay the course, guys.

After reading thru these replies it is plain the GOP hacks are SCARED TO DEATH of the Constitution Party.

Bush sold himself as a conservative, but hes governed as a moderate - just like his father.

What makes you think Bush will appoint pro-life judges next term? He wouldn't fight for the ones he appointed THIS term.

The partial-birth abortion ban is a drop in the bucket - best case scenerio it might stop 1000 abortions out of the 400,000/year.

It may not be realistic to believe the CP will win the Presidency this election I admit that - but we've got you talking about 'em :)

Actually, such a group would have a net growth of zero, but he can't do logic either.

Yep, gotta see the raw data for it to mean anything.

hey, I'm with you.

in fact, I'm running on the CP ticket, myself.

vote for me, and I'll appoint Jefferson, Washington, and Lincoln to the supreme court, by force of Roger's Rangers and the Green Mountain Boys, if need be.

I'm pro-life, but I think that the federal government should be involved in this issue because of the 10th Amendment. It states that all powers that are not reserved for the federal government, in the Constitution, are reserved for the states. The Constitution doesn't mention abortion, because no one performed them in the 1780's, so the Roe vs. Wade decision and all other federal government involvement in the issue is unconstitutional. I wish that every state legislature would pass laws which state that life begins at conception and that an abortion is a homicide, except to save the mother's life.
