I doubt it. Has anyone seen any indication that Kerry would be any better - even those who argue that it couldn't be any worse have to see that a Kerry presidency is highly unlikely be any better on this front.
Oddly enough, the wacky firebrand from Vermont might have done something to curb spending... but he's no longer an option, and had other faults.
So, what are we left with? The lesser of two evils. But, after you add in the Patriot Act monstrosity, and the apparently lack of any good plan for Iraq, past or present, I'll be danged, its hard to tell which is lesser these days. The devil you know, or the devil you don't know...

I hope that no one wants you to vote for Kerry. Your state, Maryland, will probably be won by Kerry. If you disagree with Bush's budget proposals, including small tax cuts and large spending increases, I hope that you'll vote for the candidate with whom you agree the most, maybe someone in the Constitution or Libertarian Party.
