a hitech surround sound & hi def TV in the Sistine Chapel

Back to the books, PP-in-waiting.

The Sistine is a marvelous acoustic chamber wherein the unaided human voice can be clearly heard by all (who are paying attention.)

Believe it or not, there's a very minor theological point involved here having to do with preference for 'the natural' rather than the 'mechanically aided.'

It's not too important--but it is still against liturgical regs to use recordings, tapes, or CD's to "produce" music in a Catholic church proper.

That's something very widely unknown OR ignored--but it's wrong.

There are more than a few differences between the Prots and the RC's on these items.

"yet won't discuss how it is that you have it."

I've seen how you "discuss." Your supercilious insult motivated me not to discuss, but just to tell you how full of crap you are.

"BTW, obesity is a cause of chronic liver disease."

And chronic liver disease can be a cause of obesity. Until you get to ESLD, when you shrivel down to bones and parchment.

BTW, I've had my disagreements with sinkspur, but you really acted like a jerk yesterday.

You could all it anti-nomianism, but I think Sinky is like a number of us: willing to poke at the bees' nest to get a reaction in MOST cases.

George is a great guy, but has nothing but trouble in his 'rank-and-file' clergy---just like Dolan in Mke.

And it's possible that there will be more settlements coming there, too. Money will be tough....

Well, you obviously did not want to engage my heartfelt postings about human weaknesses and how hard it must be to have one's weakness on display (as a vast majority of obese people do).

For whatever reason you zoned in - as if I had commited a gross error by generalizing - on the small minority of people are obese for reasons other than overeating.

In the real world, it is generally accepted that most all obese people are overeaters. Sorry to offend you.

***well ya know ya gotta deal with the wheat and the tares thing!***

When do you deal with it?

Priest Tare?
Bishop Tare?
Archbishop Tare?
Cardinal Tare?
Pope Tare?

I say sooner rather than later.....

***God deals with this exclusively, I do believe.***

If a priest/pastor is sexually immoral then God deals with it via a church that is willing to be obedient in church discipline to remove the priest/pastor.

Likewise when a priest/pastor denies the faith in his teaching God deals with it via a church that is obedient in guarding the flock by removing the heretic from a place of leadership.

When a church Catholic/Protestant has leaders that protect church leaders who flaunt biblical morality or spew heresies it can not excuse itself by saying, Let God do it - it's not our job to judge.

Yeah, and the "real world" is mistaken.

"Sorry to offend you."

Well, you started with that "what do you do with your young boy lovers?" crap, and pretty much kept it up all day.

You know, I sorta left the Catholic Church for a while back in my youth... the banners and weird stuff I saw and heard kinda set me back a bit (plus my mother having an affair with a priest bothered me somewhat as it culminated in my parents divorce and then she got an annulment). And I went on my merry way and did a lot of stuff that was supposed to be fun and make you happy. Well I did have fun but I wasn't really happy... sorta had no direction.

Then I remembered (with the grace of God) to do as they say, and not as they do. And I looked around and did a bit of studying and praying, and got beyond those tares, including myself. The Truth of it all is what is important, it's kind of like you have to look above all the tares and see the sun in the distance. And the wheat usually grows higher than the tares, so it is easier to see.

Hey, protestants aren't allowed to be right. Knock that off.

Youu mentioned a specific scripture (wheat and tares).
Jesus clearly explains that the tares will be cast into fire at the end of the world. This is not our job.
