Where's Souix Center, IA?
10 miles up the road from Sheldon.

"I see you live in the 'Holy Land'." Ah! Yes it was you! You've already noted that about me in the past (In fact the only one to do so).
If my memory serves me well, your the fellow who had some bad experience with people involved in the CRC and thus have taken an overal negative view of all things CRC.

I always liked, "If you're not Dutch, you're not much" myself.

At Westminster Seminary, when I was there, it wasn't hard finding a professor to administer a Dutch language proficiency exam. I would hope that they could be fluent in at least one language. :-)

Just some things. Actually more to do with some people than anything.

Yes, they are!

Prior to taking my Dutch exam I prayed, "Lord, if you can create a Dutch exam that I can pass, I will be impressed!"
He is impressive. :-)
The Westminster faculty were godly, brilliant men. They treated me graciously -- even knowing that I was/am a dispensationalist with a baptistic view of the ordinances.
Clair Davis and Robert Godfrey, my major professors could not have been more encouraging. Ditto to Palmer Robertson and Sam Logan.

Don't bet on it.

"Prior to taking my Dutch exam I prayed, "Lord, if you can create a Dutch exam that I can pass, I will be impressed!" " If you need a refresher -I'm sure my wife's brother-in-law could help you out- he still has the heavy Dutch brogue -even after 25 years! (It's a rarity in the 'states' to hear this anymore in the dutch reformed communities -most of the first generation dutch immagrants still living moved over to Canada after the war. Every single Canadian friend of mine at Calvin had parents I couldn't understand very well!)

If babies are not sinful, then why do they die? If animals are not sinful, then why do they die?

We ought to pair up his heavy Dutch brogue with some of my Cajun buddies from the Bayou.

Cause they taste good and are fun to shoot.

"Those other towns are where my relatives live." Of course, this shouldn't suprise you!
I remember my mother-in-law telling me she met up with a childhood playmate of my mother in Lynden, Wa.
Jean
To: Jean Chauvin
Ah, that accent. My brother's father in law has it. Odd to hear it. Of course, he's an odd man.

To: rwfromkansas
Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me. What is sin?
What does sinful mean?
I cannot tell if we agree or disagee unless I now what you mean by the words you use.
