I ask God where He wants me to be. Sometimes He changes things up when I least expect it :) but He always answers.
Well, Rome does add one has to go through Mary as well.
Wrong. With a capital "c".
I believe in God,
the Father Almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died and was buried;
He descended into hell;
on the third day He rose again from the dead;
He ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
from there He will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the Holy Catholic Church,
the communion of Saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and life everlasting.
Amen.

Amazing how the case of a single letter totally changes meaning. I’ve researched the translations of the creed from the original Greek, and they all show the regular word “catholic” in reference to a church united by faith in Christ. I remember in my early RCC days we were taught with the lower case “catholic” as well, in reference to the universal church in Christ. When did it change over to the exclusive “Catholic”?
Yeah that’s what I was taught in the RCC. That Mary is the “mother of God” and the “co-redemptrix” with Christ. That she’s the one who crushes the serpent’s head. Also that she is the intercessor to Jesus, who is the intercessor to God. We actually worshiped her, although we used the term “venerate” which means the same. Our church was even named after her.
I did learn later the Truth that there is only one Intercessor who is Jesus Christ, He is my Redeemer through His death and Resurrection, and the only one who defeated Satan and destruction.

Good info on Mary here:
What is the Hail Mary that Catholics say so often?

Yep....and the last part is based on a bad translation which is still the official translation of Rome.

.....................................
That is interesting, I hadn’t heard that. He was an interesting man all around. One day we’ll know for sure if it’s true or not. For now God surely knows where Martin Luther is.
By the way, this article you posted is interesting. I didn’t realize the Luciferian Foster Bailey wrote anything. I’ve only read about his wicked wife and her demonic channeling. The article gave me many good insights into the deceptions of the end times.
Of all the ignorance displayed on this thread and these forums,you’re statement that RCs put zero stock in scripture is the blazing poster child of arrogant stupidity.
Just because you can uote it doesn’t mean you undersand it. You need a better teacher.
Now I’msure you’ll tell me that the Holy Spirit is your teacher, but there’s only one of those, and there’s only one truth. Two contradictory things cannot coexist.
So if the “Holy Spirit” teaches Baptists one thing, and Pentacostals another, and Evangelicals another, and on, and on, over thirty thousand times, maybe that should be telling you something.
And you call us the arrogant ones.
Not the failed and discredited appeal to the 30,000 denominations argument. Whatever credibility you may have had just went out the door.
“Two contradictory things cannot coexist.”
Exactly. There’s Scripture, and there’s fantasy. I’ll stick with Scripture. Razzle-dazzle that’s extra-Biblical is fantasy, and not of the Holy Spirit.
I’ve found this resource very helpful in respectfully untangling misunderstandings and departures from the Word. All religion (man-made culture) needs to line up with the Jesus Christ standard of Truth.
Catholic Questions

Plenty of poor souls have come up with fantasy by reading Scripture. The Serpent comes to mind.
Let us pray for them.
It’s easy enough to claim to have discredited something.
I will continue to pray for our separated brethren. I hope all of you will pray for us Catholics. We all spend way too much time on these threads attacking each other, and not exhibiting much Christian Charity. Maybe we should move on to more fruitful pursuits.
What some call attacks some call witnessing. I’ve noted many RCs either don’t know what they believe or cannot defend it. Some call for posters to be banned in these instances. When that happens they’ve lost the argument.
When we consider eternal life is on the table it is essential one knows the Truth. And that Truth is only found in the Bible.
I’m only responsible for what I say, so please don’t hold me to account for what others say.
In that case you’re responsible for the false 30k comment.
Yes, I am responsible for believing thay there is only one version of the Truth, not however many “Christian” denominations there are. That is precisely why I converted to Catholicism
Considering the number of contra-Biblical stances Rome has adopted I’d seriously recommend you reconsider.
