Atheists (who claim to be pro-science, by the way. This will be important) claim that lack of evidence is evidence in itself for God’s non-existence. But that is completely contrary to the scientific method. Evidence is evidence, not the lack of it. They are not pro-science in this case.
I would respond by saying that the existence of God CAN be proved scientifically, then point to Foundations of Faith, Practical Essays on Christian Evidences by Samuel G. Dawson, available at Amazon. Dawson is a physicist and he proves it in 16 pages using the first and second laws of thermodynamics.

Yes, it’s possible under that scenario. From there Science* can move on to probabilities, which Science* loves when it comes to Global Disaster-ing, but probably hates when it comes to this subject.

I believe you CAN prove the existence of God. But…
Believing that Jesus is the son of God, that there is a holy Trinity, or that God offers salvation are all articles of faith which cannot be scientifically proven.

A SHORT answer to your question is to actually have studied the scriptures and then look to science and archeology to see how they align with one another.
There really are scriptures that tell a story, a time or a science detail .. long before scientists discovered it!

Science operates in the bounds of infinity. It operates in the bounds of what can be observed, measured, or computed. God operates in eternity. In eternity humans can only speculate but can adjust their guesses by the evidence around them. Only through faith can they decide upon the nature of god. Denying the exitance of eternity is for Neanderthals.
