If I want to watch a movie or miniseries about Jesus Christ, I’ll watch “The Passion Of The Christ”, “The Bible” along with the spin off movie “Son Of God” or “Jesus Of Nazareth”.
I forgot to mention “Ben-Hur”, “King Of Kings” and “The Greatest Story Ever Told”.

I know this anger lots of folks, but I would advise everyone to steer clear of that TV series. It makes great efforts to deviate from the scriptures at every turn. Stay away from it.
People have told me they think this will hopefully inspire more people to pick up the Bible if they haven’t before, but I think it it gets people off on the wrong foot if the interpretation is lodged in your mind before you read the actual biblical text.
What bothers me about the series is the anachronistic dialog, using modern day vernacular. Absolutely unnecessary and annoying. It turned my wife and I off and we stopped watching after season 2. If the purpose is to entertain believers and create new believers, it should be believable.
And God said go forth and groom the little children and fool them into having their sex parts removed. All the while keeping it a secret from their parents.
And ye men of faith ..dress like women and beat real women in sports competitions.. and take showers in the women’s shower room.

The people can’t do anything about the debt. That’s in the hands of the politicians. The “culture war” is something that is primarily the people’s concern and something we actually can do something about.

This isn’t “usually” time. Our enemies use “freedom” as cover for undermining the foundations of our society. To hell with that. Our enemies will try to cancel us for wearing a crucifix, or saying a prayer. So I’m completely fine with cancelling them right back for flying a pervert flag.
I would agree with this even though I don’t watch the show.
I turned it off after ten minutes of it after watching it portraying a single woman going to a bar for drinks in first century Israel.
As long as the show itself does not show the flag on screen, you can hardly expect them to vet what everyone who works on it thinks or wears.

I reject the idea that LGB people cannot also believe in Jesus or have a personal relationship with God or a Christian faith. The “look at me” types obsessed with adults attracted to each other aren’t living a Biblical life themselves. They are full of hubris and hatred. They need to focus on themselves and their faith. Do we need to be wary of sexualizing children? Absolutely, in any form that takes.
Having an LGB attraction is an innate disorder according to the Catholic catechism. But they call for respect and disinterested friendship. They are human too.
There’s always a difference between the outrage culture attention seekers in any group and those who do want to be recognized but left alone. What if every Christian was judged on the antics of Westboro Baptist? That’s what the Left tries to do… paint extremists (real or made up) as the mainstream opposition to scare people away from hearing other voices and viewpoints. It’s at the heart of how they define and attack MAGA. Racists do the same with slurs, fictional tales and hateful stereotypes about others.
Christ was very specific regarding homosexuality/perversion, no matter what the homos want, it will not change.
I had a conversation with one of my daughters. She bought a pair of sandals, each of which has a rainbow over each foot. I told her they look cute on her, and commented on how I like rainbows and bright colors like that, but that the Gay Lobby has co-opted that design and I felt I couldn’t wear anything like that anymore. She’s more to the left than I am, but agreed with me. (She isn’t gay).
I hate what the Left has done, and IS doing to this country.
