Awful. I remember the lawsuits and angst when the (few) faithful Episcopalians tried to hold on to individual properties against the onslaught caused by the gay bishop. Such a sadness. The renegades simply erased the parts of the Bible and Wesley they don't like. It's the moral snobbery of the woke that is the most disgusting.
I guess Wesley's faithful will have to be "squatters" until they find a new place to plant.
And here I was supporting LGBTQWERTY. I’m so behind the times!
I just sent this letter to a cousin who asked what his church should do.

The UMC just replaced a female bishop who had just married another female. They replaced her with another lesbian bishop.
There was the hope of an amicable spit into 2 new denominations, but the spiteful denomination has put that off enough times now that it is evident they will totally undermine any such vote by unscrupulous means.
The new denomination has recognized that the UMC is more concerned with hoarding all wealth of any kind to their own coffers, than with friendlines, so they have launched the Global Methodist Church (GBC) starting 1 May.
Those churches that remain in the UMC will soon have lesbian, gay, or transsexual pastors. They will have drag queen story hour for children. They will be an arm of the democrat party.
If you have influence, I would push the church to join the GBC.
It will cost a lot, or there will be court cases. It is obvious that this current leadership has totally abrogated historic methodist teaching.
That would be a good starting point for a good lawyer.
UMC is filthy, dirty, sloppy mess with no accountability. Oliveto investigating Carcano is a complete joke. They are lifelong friends and colleagues.
Carcano has a history of not following complaint procedures prescribed in The Book of Discipline 362. It is finally coming back to haunt her.
