There is a verse in the Bible, “ Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity”. Mathew 7:22,23

I think of that one a lot. I examine every thing I’ve ever felt thought did and think of Judgement Day and believe me, it tempers me, and well, I just can’t fathom how anyone who claims to be a Christian can NOT think of that one and examine their own behavior, motives with that in mind.

But it sure seems they don’t, nor feel they have to.
