Hi JAG. Check your FReepmail.
Hi Liz,
If you’re talking about Sarah’s DVD titled Symphony ~ the one she did in Vienna in Saint Stephen’s Cathedral, the statement that it was a really a magnificent performance, is straight out of MY mind and heart, and not out of the minds of New York City reviewers ~ who, as we both know, are not sophisticated except in their own opinions about themselves, most likely ~ wouldn’t you agree?
I say it was magnificent because I have been through that DVD at least 20 times, playing my favorite songs. When I get hold of a good thing< I hold onto it and re-enjoy it dozens and dozens of times. Why? Because really good entertainment is hard to come by. Most of that stuff is not worth even watching one (1) time let alone two times.
Best.

Just a ping to say thanks for reminding me of one of my favorite singers. She does funny things to ... that nerve complex at the base of my skull. Magical voice, that.

The two humans here have classical training but went on to major careers in other types of music.
Annie in Wonderland is the first solo album by Annie Haslam, vocalist with the 1970s band Renaissance. Great singer, great music although not opera...

NIGHTWISH - Ghost Love Score (LIVE IN BUENOS AIRES 2012) -
Floor Jansen is operatically trained and it shows. This song is a CLASSIC, although not classical. It is a part of a genre of metal music featuring big voiced sopranos. It sounds weird but it works ! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3brcfttchzA
Now for the Non-Human part of the list -
Pink Floyd - Seamus https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BdFOgLyk6Qs
Diva Plavalaguna - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a7Dh5QoXv2c
and finally “Hatsune Miku no Gekishou” live.

May I suggest you don’t worry about the words, just enjoy the performance.
You’re welcome.
Glad you were reminded.
I guess you’re talking about Sarah.
I mentioned two others:
Anna and Angela.
Best Regards.
JAG
ADNM,
Thank you for taking the time and making the effort to create that post for me.
