I’m going to make it a point to start attending the TLM.
The pope is not Catholic. Not at all.
The only thing “divisive” is the elimination of the Latin mass. That never enters the mind of a liberal though.
will no one rid is of this old heretic?
Does that mean that all the Catholic church priests and members were wrong before Vatican II?
’ concern for the Church’s unity ?????
What a crock. In every Catholic church you go into their doing their own thing.
Half the time you throw up your hands in a new church asking’ What are they doing?! ‘.
- and no, not one of these churches are conducting the Mass in Latin.
Recount, recount and recount until you get things your way. The leftist ideology.
Catholic Church introduces the new hip and modern liturgy to intentionally be divisive. They defend it by saying “change is good. Disruption is progress”
Now the Pope blocks the traditional liturgy because it’s causing too much disruption.
He’s satan incarnate.
Is the Pope speaking ex cathedra?
I hope you can. But that may be easier said than done, pending your bishop's whims.
Yet the Dictator Pope has been constantly complaining abort "clericalism" while he persecutes faithful Catholics with an iron fist.
Hypocrite Jorge, the Unmerciful.
TLM is growing especially with traditional conservative leaning young people.
Hence this decision.
Liturgical legislation like this is never covered by the charism of infallibility.
I suppose the only solution is to preach the Leftist Gospel of Political Correctness.
I’ve attended in the past, we lost ours partly due to covid and very elderly priests, but am looking forward to attending FSSP Masses in Post Falls, ID, on occasion. No local (novus ordo) services for me and certainly no donations.
I go to an all latin mass. It will be interesting to see what they do.
Liars for Life strike again.
The Pope did not call the traditional liturgy divisive.
He (mostly falsely) claimed that people are using it divisively.
OK
May I suggest then you nail to your local church door a list of 95 or 96 reasons that you don’t like this move by the Pope and invite serious debate with your Cardinal?
Or would it be better to just sit around and complain?
An opportunity offered by St. John Paul II and, with even greater magnanimity, by Benedict XVI, intended to recover the unity of an ecclesial body with diverse liturgical sensibilities, was exploited to widen the gaps, reinforce the divergences, and encourage disagreements that injure the Church, block her path, and expose her to the peril of division.
And, as far as Bergoglio and "division" goes:
Pope Francis’ Reported Words: “I Might Go Down in History for Having Split the Catholic Church”
He's proud of that claim and he's living up to it.
Cute. But I’d be more likely to send a letter to my bishop. I’ve already severely cut back on my donations.
