“The tweets are a way for me to highlight that ‘Amoris Laetitia’ is so much more than just about the issue of divorce and remarriage,” the issue that attracted the most media coverage, he told CNS.

“‘Amoris Laetitia’ spoke about families honestly and openly, and in a way that was refreshing,” Hillis said. “The ideal is there, but the messy reality is also clearly recognized and honored.”

Bottom line: "the messy reality of adultery is also clearly recognized and honored".

“a far too abstract and almost artificial theological ideal of marriage”

What nonsense. Marriage is a sacrament established by Christ himself. The sanctity of marriage is available to all baptized Christians. It’s secular society that has created a romanticized ideal of marriage.

Bergoglio has excommunicated himself latae sententiae. The Catholic Church has no pope.

“Bergoglio has excommunicated himself latae sententiae.”

I can belief that, but what do you believe is the action he committed that warrants that?
