This has been their end (no pun intended) game for a long time... sanctioning sodomy. As a Catholic, I simply will not accept it. I will not accept a Church that condones sodomy. I will not accept a Church that “marries” two sodomy partners. I will not accept a Church that condones abortion. We’re not there yet, but we’re getting perilously close. And I’m sure I’m not the only Catholic who feels this way. If they cross these lines, I don’t see how schism can possibly be avoid.
it’s a shame God gave us to many holes that will fit into that it doesn’t belong!
So, the concept of chaste now is on the Bishops cancel culture chopping block.

Why “tolerance” contains the seeds of its own destruction.
I read a paper by an Oxford biologist that the so-called “homosexuality” in animals is simply miscatagorizing behavior. Animals do not attempt to reproduce with others of their own sex. The do have behaviors for dominance or young rearing that are separate from sex.
Two points in reply to the Bishops apparent statement “...that the Church needs to recognize that homosexuality occurs in the ‘animal world’ and should not be thought of as a ‘mistake’ in God’s creation.”:
1. The Bishop needs to go back and re-read Genesis, and note that God created man and woman in HIS image after he wasn’t satisfied with the creatures of the land, sea, & air.
2. The Bishop needs to remember that Jesus told the prostitute/adulterous woman “to go and sin no more” after He asked her accusers if none of them were “without sin.” John 7:53–8:11
Sigh. I grew up Catholic, and I left the church for personal reasons, but I harbor no ill will at all for Catholics and the good clergy and nuns out there.
I do know they exist, and I respect them.
But I have been appalled by what I hear coming from the Vatican for some time now, and I know there are a lot of Catholics out there who who view Rome in the same way I do: There is something sick and degenerate there, with their full blown efforts to mainstream homosexuality, and promote it in the ranks of the clergy, and their open embrace of Marxism.
If there is a schism, it puts Catholics in a tough spot. Because the official religion is going to side with Rome.
I think, in the end, the only way the Catholic Church is saved is by a new Pope who rejects the current dogma being embarrassingly pushed by the Vatican.
I have a great deal of sympathy for Catholics. This has to be hard.
This Bishop (so-called) needs to be defrocked immediately.
Stick a fork in it - the catholic church is done.
They have become worse than Anglicans since the Marxist pope took over.
This is the natural outcome of compromise. God never proposes "chastity" as a therapy for sodomy. His solution is death for those engaged in this abomination.
In that case, the Church disrespects everyone.
Married, single, straight, gay, undecided, etc.
The Church fails in charity toward all the celibate by failing to underscore the absolute importance that they remain chaste.
God does not change!
God does not compromise!
God sets the rules and the rules are what they are!
