Bergoglio’s “papacy” is the fallacy.
“Were you the one who added the “LutherRightRePopes” keyword?”
No I am not.
I do not need (nor did I ever read) Luther’s opinions on Roman Catholic popes to have my own opinions on the subject, or my own opinion on particular popes.
Do you pray for his monthly intentions like:
September 2021
An Environmentally Sustainable Lifestyle
We pray that we all will make courageous choices for a simple and environmentally sustainable lifestyle, rejoicing in our young people who are resolutely committed to this.
or
SEPTEMBER 2022
For the abolition of the death penalty
We pray that the death penalty, which attacks the dignity of the human person, may be legally abolished in every country.
P.S. Not one of Bergoglio’s monthly intentions were for the abolition of legal abortions worldwide. That’s just not politically correct, something he craves to be.
God doesn’t need your lies, not now and not in eternity.
Do you believe unrepentant adulterers should receive Holy Communion?
Do you believe there is a sacrament of grace in unmarried cohabitation?
Do you believe Jews don't need conversion for their salvation?
I pray for him and every bishop with every rosary I pray every day. I ask that they behave as true successors to the Apostles. The Grace is there if they chose to cooperate with it.
“Woe to the world because of scandals. For it must needs be that scandals come: but nevertheless woe to that man by whom the scandal cometh.” Matt 18:7
But do you pray for Francis’ intention to abolish capital punishment worldwide?
Catholics are supposed to pray for the pope’s intentions. Do you think Francis’ intentions, so far, have all been good?
“Catholics are supposed to pray for the pope’s intentions.”
That is a rule of thumb, assuming he is a pastor of good will. Since he is not, I pray for his conversion and that he would cooperate with the graces of that Office.
Such prayers are not wasted, God uses the graces elsewhere if the target is hardened. Even if someone specifically prays for the “Pope’s intentions”.
His opposition to capital punishment is just one of many scandals he is promoting. He is in for a world of eternal hurt if he does not convert before his final tribunal, hence the need to pray for his soul even more.
