We were dealing with a choice of who is going to captain the ship, not pastor a church, and there was and is only one morally permissible and right choice. Even if Romney was the candidate, he would have received 80% of the evangelical vote. As he did when he was the candidate.
This is a vile slander against civic minded christians. These same Christians have been faithfully sharing the gospel, teaching, preaching and reaching their communities with needful service.
Finally, after being excluded from the public square and constantly reminded of the fictitious "separation of church and state," Christians have found a believing President who is also the most pro-life President in memory. It's hard enough getting christians to vote. I rejoice in the growing civic mindedness.
"When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn."Proverbs 29:2
Scripture does not condone what Beth Moore is doing in the church.
"11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. 12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. 13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression."1 Timothy 2:11-14
. . . which is clearly noticeable in the following snippet of the Constitution:. . . If any Bill shall not be returned by the President within ten Days (Sundays excepted) after it shall have been presented to him . . .I invite anyone to suggest the name of a religion or other tradition even known to the founders other than Christianity which treated “the first day of the week” as a weekly holiday. In that clause the Constitution simply takes respect for the Christian tradition for granted. And the 2012 DNC put themselves at odds with that tradition.
Thank you.
