I see Trump as more like King Josiah. The last righteous ruler of a civilization rushing towards judgement. His reign only delayed, but didn’t prevent, the wrath to come.
you sound like a very devoted believer in Jesus Christ. That is awesome. I too have devoted my life to Him. I do understand what you’re saying about someone’s loose knit walk, but I can say, for the first time in my life (I’m in my early 60’s) I have a president who believes too. He’s not like you or I; he’s a young believer. But I do believe he’s given his life to Jesus Christ unlike anyone since before 1960. For me, as for you no doubt, my walk has been baby steps (although I feel like I’m running at full adult speed right now! LOL) so I give others slack as I really believe if WE are walking the walk that Christ calls us to walk, we will be a brighter light of the world which will lead others to want what we have.
apt comparison.
We have experienced 9-11, financial collapse of 2008, (fell to 666 on the S&P by the way), and now Covid. At 9-11, the churches were full for about 3-4 months, BTW. I'm not saying this is the Tribulation because it's not world wide, but The 4 horsemen of the Apocalypse will be War, Famine, Economic Collapse, and Disease. All of those may or may not look like a move of God for the first 3 1/2 years. Many may just feel like this is 2020 returned on steroids. At some point God will make it a point to show He expects repentance. IMO, the Rapture happens at Rev 4:1, so the first seal will be the emergence of the Antichrist. The major part of the Tribulation saints will have died by seal #5. There won't be many left willing to repent.
A look at Solomon's kingdom shows he married non Jews until they changed his heart to pagan and there were pagan altars all across Israel. When Solomon died, Israel split into two pagan nations. Assyria took over the northern part and Babylon took the southern part. It took several years for this to happen, but does anyone believe it wasn't God's hand that did it? Read Eze 16 to see God's point of view on Israel's actions. The whole country was involved, not just Solomon. Hiram, King of Tyre, Eze 28, was Lucifer and Solomon's best friend. Israel stayed a pagan wasteland until King Josiah took charge and knocked the altars down and came back to YHWH.
America NEEDS a revival. We need to pray everywhere and teach God's Word to all Americans, if for nothing else as accurate history. If you are an individual Christian, you need to know that you could die as the country you live in convulses under God's punishment.
Jesus said He would return "as it was in the days of Noah" and "as it was in the days of Lot". I think we probably understand the days of Lot, but many don't understand what the days of Noah were like. The Fallen angels in Gen 6:1 mated with the daughters of men and made monsters called Nephilim. We would call them Chimera's today. They had the ability to change people and animals DNA. God created His Creation and all was "good" before this time. Immediately after the Nephilim were revealed, Noah was introduced and the Flood was promised. The Bible just gives us that their thoughts were continually evil. Evil had existed in Gen 3, but something had changed to cause God to kill everything with breath on the earth. The Nephilim DNA made it onto the Ark, probably from the wives that were brought onboard, the first Nephilim after the Flood was Nimrod per the Septuagint. When the spies were sent to Canaan, they came back saying they were Giants in the land, that devoured the inhabitants. The Sons of Anak produced Goliath and his brothers and ate the people as cannibals.
Today, we are building soldiers that are tougher and more talented as a normal person, we have pig hearts and valves, and designer children among thousands of other uses.
Of course the days of Lot are already here. To accept sodomy and other sexual deviancy is warned about in Leviticus 18.
Lev 18:27 (for all these abominations the men of the land have done, who were before you, and thus the land is defiled),
Lev 18:28 lest the land vomit you out also when you defile it, as it vomited out the nations that were before you.
There won't be any land to save if we keep on as we are.
The Flood killed everyone that wasn't in the Ark (Rapture) and everyone was killed in Sodom save Lot and his family who were rescued before the fire fell. As a Christian, you will be saved into Heaven, but you won't be alive on this earth anymore. You can't live if there is no place to live on. The only answer is for the CHURCH to repent and save everybody else.
I didn't want to get political, but our founders were Christians with guns that decided they wouldn't live under a king that didn't follow the Bible. It could come down to the point that in order to avoid punishment from God, we may have to take on the evil on the earth. Everyday we send our kids into a world that rejects God and His teachings, everyday we teach them that there is more than men and women, killing babies is fine, and all the other bilge they are taught about how Satan wants them to live, God is deciding when He has had enough. We all need to answer the question why we would send our children where God is not welcomed? We cans save the earth by giving our testimony to others concerning Christ, or we will have to confront evil with force. God has no use for earth if it's filled with evil He never designed. There are many references to "soldiers for Christ" "Spiritual warfare" armor, swords, shields, ect. You will either fight spiritually or physically but sitting in your Lazyboy waiting for a Trumpet to blow probably isn't a good plan.
