In Baltimore city and surrounding counties, Catholic schools are open. Public schools have not been open since last March. Very strong teachers union ... just keeping the children safe ... /s
The LA Unified Teachers’ Union announced - ‘we will not go back until POLICE ARE DEFUNDED.’ How does that make sense? I was told that here in Pasadena, Pasadena Unified ‘is just following what LA Unified has decided.’ That means the teachers’ union calls the shots, probably in this whole state. The unions own Sacramento, so I am not surprised. But is there no one with a spine? No scab substitute teachers who are willing to cross the picket line?
