No, the point is the fact that so many place their hopes in Benedict as the "true pope". The man is in his 90's and therefore close to death, so there really is no reason to excuse his silence and scream curse words at others who aren't willing to excuse him.

Too many here wish to explain it away by asserting his "keepers" have got him in a choke hold or made death threats towards him or his family....or....something.

Perhaps you all need to wake up and realize that perhaps he is silent about Bergoglio because he is part of the problem. Perhaps he actually has no problem with his agenda. Perhaps his stepping down was all part of that agenda.
