This would be the reason Rush, and President Trump moved away from NYC.

“when I cant even pay the essential services, Cuomo said.
The mafia doesn’t care if you don’t have the money. You will pay them or else. They run the ‘essential’ services, probably.

NYS has more bad optics going on.
Cuomo was never that great.
NYS was, but that was then.

Mario Cuomo must have tried real hard to raise some of the most scummy/sleazeball children on the face of the planet.

There was a thread on this the other day, and many freepers opined that taxes should be paid to New York because Samaratins Purse employees were working and earning taxable income within the borders of the state of New York.
So depending who you talk to, some people are outraged that taxes could be owed for doing charitable or humanitarian work. Others say that paid employees of such organizations are earning their pay where such charity work is being performed.

... and if we get federal funding ... Yep, it is that 'Orange Man Bad' syndrome, if only Hillary had won, Cuomo would be rolling in it! As it is, he just smells like he dived in it!

Were not in a position to provide any subsidies right now because we have a $13 billion deficit, Cuomo said at a daily press briefing this week, Fox News reported Friday.
Provide subsidies? What subsidies would NY be providing, exactly? Samaritan's Purse used their own resources, from what I understand, in setting up this hospital and treating the patients. What subsidies was NY providing?

There is no excuse for taxing people who come to your state to save lives. Anyone who thinks this is okay has a screw loose.

It depends on whether they were working pro bono or if they were actually taking a salary. If they were taking a salary, they should pay the tax. If they were working without being compensated, then they shouldn’t be taxed for donated services.

Well, you better find a way to cut non-essential services and open up the state sooner rather than later.
