The Vatican has a seat in the UN. When there was a Catholic Pope, China’s aggression against the church was often exposed and condemned. They were careful not to go too overboard.
Now that the pope is a communist and a pagan, he files no protests at the UN and allows China to destroy Christians and especially Catholics with impunity.
This pagan piece of garbage is about as evil as they come.

Was this an English language mass? I seriously doubt they care about English language masses, on the assumption that the average Chinese wouldn’t know the language well enough to follow what’s being said.

Pretty much what I expected. I doubt Chinese censors have any particular interest in English language audio material that Chinese audiences would need a translation to follow.
