Precisely.
1. “Sexual oritentation” is not a “Constitutionally protected status.
2. Sexual orientation does not have the same protections against discrimination as does sex, because it - discrimination agsint sexual orientation - is the same, whether the person is male or female.
3. The Lesbian would have to claim that the seminary does not discriminate against male same-sex unions, only female same-sex unions, in order to claim discrimination based on her “sex”.
