Why not? Christians already observe the pagan holidays of Christmas, Easter, Valentines Day, St. Patricks day...etc etc etc.

I prefer Diwali to Halloween and don’t end up Hindu even after eating the cookies.

We will be forced to soon after S.386 passes. Some parts of King County, Washington have more lights up now than in Christmas. Dot Indians do not assimilate due to chain migration getting as bad as Chinese, Mexican or Somali chain migration. With the same results.

Catholics celebrate things with a Mass.

DIWALI? NOPE.
I never heard of it being celebrated here.

The Japanese "celebrate" Christmas...the lights, gifts and tinsel but they DO NOT celebrate the birth of Christ.

Something I never forgot from summer Bible Camp in the ‘60s: “When in doubt, don’t do it.” Of course that was in the context of sex, but it’s come through for me in many situations.
