Christ was using metaphors? I am quite sure when God said, I am, he meant every word He said as literal, not metaphorical. Especially The Word.
Cultural interactivity is just intercultural dialogue to keep culture in fine activity in order to facilitate even more dialogue about culture. I know it is a fake quote. I found it on another forum a while back, that even though it was obviously false and heretical, elicited mixed responses that were shocking. Far too many people took it at face value, assuming it was real.
Some were horrified, a few were actually supportive. And some were not surprised based on the other things Francis has said and done. As such, it is a barometer of Catholic thought about him, and he is found wanting.
Lies are not a barometer of catholic thought.
