Why does anti-Christian Huff Po even care?
the Huff Post making issue over technicalities of a religious credo that not all denominations recite? Pretty amusing considering the source.
I call BS. We had Baptist presidents. Baptists dont “do” any creeds.
I go to Catholic Church and I don’t sing and I don’t recite the prayers verbally or even mouthing it at all. That doesn’t make me a heathen. Society is regressing at a rapid pace by snowflakes.
Get a grip folks. The current President did not recite it out of deference to Muslims so as to not offend them.
When did Obama EVER recite it?
Please prove that every President recited the Creed. How does he know Trump did not? I have often recited the Creed to myself and not out loud. I suppose if he had sang and recited the Creed something would have been wrong there.
All of this is Absurd!!!!!!!!!!
That is nobody’s business.
I would say shame of HuffPo, but they are well beyond that.
Leave it to the rabid God-hating left to get upset when the Trumps DON’T do something religious.
On the other hand, Obama and Michelle were reading if from a book.
I saw someone call Trump a “Christian evangelical”. He’s never been one of those.
Hmmm so how many of the Presidents reciting the Apostle’s Creed believed what they were saying?
I go to mass with my wife. I stand up and mumble, but I dont say it either. We didnt have that in my church growing up.
Actions speak LOUDER than WORDS. He is the most pro-life, pro-religious liberty president since Ronald Reagan!
I bet a million dollars if he HAD read it (like everyone else) then they would have said “How dare the President of the United States endorse religion!”

If you don’t believe me, come over here and sit on my fist and I will show you....
I noticed that at the funeral.....but wondered if it was because President Trump didn’t have his reading glasses on and he had to read the words.....like all the fakers did on that row.
Just wonderin’
I wouldn’t know The Apostles’ Creed if it bit me in the ass, and I’ve attended church since I was three days old minimum of five times a week. Some religions don’t believe in “vain repetitions” and chants.
My favorite hymn:
“My faith has found a resting place
Not in device or CREED”
I believe that President Trump saw the version of the Apostles Creed in the program and the wording that said,
“He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended into hell.
On the third day he rose again.”
The proper wording should have been,
“He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again.”
I think both he and Melania did not like the version that had the words, “He descended into hell.” I was troubled by that wording when I heard it.
I believe in God, the Father almighty, (Mt 5 :45)
Creator of heaven and earth, (Gen 1: 1; Rom 1: 20)
And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, (Mt 3: 17; Phil 2: 12)
Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, (Lk 1: 35)
born of the Virgin Mary, (Lk 2: 7)
suffered under Pontius Pilate, (Jn 19: 16)
was crucified, died, and was buried. (Jn 19: 29 42)
He descended into hell; (1 Pet 3: 19 20)
on the third day He rose again from the dead, (Mt 28:1-10; Jn 20:11-18)
He ascended in heaven, (Lk 24: 51)
and sits at the right hand of God, (Heb 1: 3)
the Father almighty; (Mk 14: 36)
from thence He shall come again (Mt 16: 27; Acts 10: 39;)
to judge the living and the dead. (1 Cor 15: 51)
I believe in the Holy Spirit, (Jn 14: 15 20; Acts 1: 7 8)
the Holy catholic Church, (Mt 16: 18 19; Eph 5: 26-27; Col 1: 24)
the communion of Saints, (Mt 28: 19 20; 2 Cor 11: 13; 1 Cor 15: 33)
the forgiveness of sins, (Jn 20: 22 23)
the resurrection of the body, (1Cor 15: 51 54; 1 Thes 4: 13 18)
and life everlasting. (1 Jn 5: 20)
Amen.
