Baptists are not Protestants. They are the progeny of the European Anabaptists who were brutally persecuted by the Protestants and Catholics No...baptists have been around the longest....John the BAPTIST!

No, the would be Catholics who are born into that religion, and stay in it without ever questioning their cultish practices.
