All this was needed thirty years ago. Most of the people who remain in the UMC presently are either CINOs, Democrat ignoramuses or atheist SJWs.

I left UMC after five generations of family more than twenty years ago, somewhat bitter that I had stayed so long. There are! Bible-believing, well organized denominations outside the UMC.

Ever since Methodism abandoned its classical Anglican/Wesleyan basis with the UMC merger in the 1960s, it has gone straight downhill theologically.

I got scolded by a UMC pastor in 2002 for wanting to have a one-minute prayer for the persecuted Christians on a National Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. Why? Because I learned about it from Focus on the Family, and the pastor still hadn’t come out of the closet.

I got scolded by a UMC pastor in 2001 for planning to pray for the gospel to be heard and understood by all people around the world at our church’s prayer service the day after the 9/11 tragedy, because “it might offend visitors who are not Christian.”

I got scolded by a UMC pastor in 1995 for wanting to take my Sunday School elementary-age children to the wedding of their Sunday School teacher, because “it might offend gays and lesbians.”

I am so done.

How about the college and universities that near the Methodist name? You know, Wesleyan and Southern Methodist come to mind.... What about the hospitals?

Fair question. I don't know about the ownership and governance structure of the universities and hospitals. That is what it is. But start with the congregations. Let local dissenting congregations keep their churches if they choose to leave. The rest would sort itself out over time.

Jesus would be a good idea for turning around their demise. It will take some searching and repenting to find Him again after rejecting Him so thoroughly for the sake of global Marxism.
