The decline in numbers has two parts. One, younger and biblically inclined families left for churches that still believe the Bible. Two, the remaining attenders are dying off.
There’s hope. The lesbian pastors in the PCUSA can still have lots of kids.
Boy are they named right - PC USA.
Churches were the only institutions that the left hadn’t taken control of. They’re about to fall to.

Yup, but it is probably amazing how many Freepers might be attending a “church” that belongs to the NCC. They don’t know, or don’t care.
Another great Christian church goes post Christian.
I was raised Southern Presbyterian. SP was absorbed by the much more liberal PCUSA.
Honestly don't go often but when I do it's PCA.
Pretty much the same as what I grew up with.
And my mother can’t understand why I don’t go to church anymore.
There is a Presbyterian Church here that is extremely conservative. In fact, for hymns they just sing the Psalms.
I think the rank and file of most of these post-Christian churches are far more orthodox than the leadership. But as has been demonstrated more publicly with Papa Francisco, the post-Christian sodomites and socialist leftists learned that by seizing control of the leadership they can dominate the institutions.
