No. I cannot think of a single example. Mostly because the proposition itself makes no sense.
Like can receive kidney transplant from murder victim while condemning murder.
But murder is illegal and, ironically, recognized almost universally as repugnant (this “bounded ethicality” truly astounds me). Abortion is institutionalized. No: organs or therapies derived from aborted fetuses must be rejected. This is Catholic teaching. This is the only moral response.
The Bishops addressed the issue a few years ago and said what I said. The illegality plays no part in the analysis.
But we should fight the future use of aborted tissue.
Of course if we win on the abortion issue that use of the babies goes away.
I wrote her off as a nutjob looking to win the lawsuit lottery when I got to the PTSD. She’s really dirtied up her case by looking for the jackpot.
