The difference is that when a Priest is accused the Church moves him to a different parish and the incident is covered up where, a Protestant minister is openly accused and arrested.

That's a non-existent "difference". Pedophiles have been shuffled around by sympathizers and co-conspirators in many organizations, non-Catholic churches as well as public school districts. It's what they do. And it's hardly the case that no priests have been "openly accused and arrested".

I’ve always thought Arthur McGowan was a decent sort despite our theological differences. I was surprised at the rather arrogant dismissal, myself.

Seems as if some forget that fact.
