Some Christians read the book as fiction free of the restrictions imposed by religions. It is still a relationship with God but he is out of the box.
Exactly. I cited a few examples of literature that places God ‘outside the box’ as you put it.
But “The Shack” just doesn’t “cut the mustard” with me. Sorry.
Enjoy.
God is the God of the Universe, Creator of All, the One True God and should be reverenced as such. He is not “in the box” or “out of the box”. He is in charge of our next breath. Life on this earth is but a vapor. . .for Christians to get caught up with fiction depicting the deity of God as in The Shack is pure blasphemy. We all have choices. I posted this thread so that those who were unaware of the book’s content would see the scriptural references to the heresies contained in the book. Too many people just want a fantasy Gospel with no need of a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. To all reading this thread. . . I say in love with concern. . .Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved from an everlasting hell. God sent His Son Jesus Christ so that none would perish.
Amen.
AMEN.
