I don`t usually believe in burning any one at the stake with out a trial but in this case i might make an exception.
It has nothing to do with animal rights but is just for one purpose and that is to divide believers.

Matthew 7:12

All of the law hangs on the two commandments, Mathew 7:12 explains what it means to love.
It is not talking about a sex orgy with your pets.
