Two wrongs don’t make a right. Exactly right! The post provided an objective aspect that is typically missing in self-righteousness Rc diatribes against Luther, whom i do not think i ever mention except in response to false or onesided RC attacks on him. If he was the pope certain RCs strangely insist we must follow, then we would have a smaller NT canon while also being more Catholic.

As I have said, God used Luther despite Luther. Would therapy help with this obsession you have over Luther?

Other than those dead churches we cut off from fellowship, we agree on the core doctrines of our faith.Who's "we"? Most protestants claim to belong to one denomination or another.

Doesn’t mean anything.
Nancy Pelosi claims she’s a Catholic. That doesn’t make her one.

And now God is using foolish catholic apologetics to expose the heretical nature of your non-Christian religion. Keep posting

S. R.:
So if metmom isn't "calling in the troops" to earn Heaven, what else do you suppose could be motivating her? e. t.: Her hatred of the Church she has apostatized from.
". . . for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart" (1 Sam. 16:7f,g AV).
"Do ye look on things after the outward appearance? If any man trust to himself that he is Christ's, let him of himself think this again, that, as he is Christ's, even so are we Christ's" (2 Cor. 10:7 AV).
If you're going to play God, e. t., you need at least to include the person whose mind you are reading as one of the recipients on that post.

not a problem. the conversation moves fast sometimes. Not the pretention that one can see another's heart and read tgeir mind. That calls for a very humble apology.

See post #263. And no one is mind-reading; metmom has made quite clear her thoughts on the Catholic Church, not excluding the Blessed Mother.

Oh really? I think Pelicanosi fits right in as a typical Catholic.

2 Samuel 10 gives an interesting example of what may happen when one thinks he can read another’s mind; and moreover, decides to try to embarrass the target(s) of his disdain.

Sounds as if you do not know how we are united.

Hitler hated Jews. It’s obvious.
Does that make me a mindreader?
