I look on bad memories as reminders of what NOT to do. Eventually, I stop cringing at them. The ole "Live and learn" maxim.
I'll be 62 in a few months, my best year was 1979 (personally and professionally), particularly the summer. I am optimistic about my future, though. Children and grandchildren are such blessings.
I don't worry about past transgressions, my wife is always there to remind me of them.

Thanks for the link. If I’m reading it correctly, no author was named. Odd to see in an obituary. I’m amazed that you found it & happy that I’m ot the only one who must have loved that poem. Thank you again.
