What is the point of denigrating or attacking what they’re trying to do? That’s what CAIR is doing. If what you’re interested in, is getting people to leave the violent practices of islam, why not support them?
They might end up with a new sect. Fine. Great. The more muslims they can get to reform & join their peaceful sect, the better.

I heard two former Muslims, both now Christians, testify that Islam endorses deceit. It explicitly instructs its followers to lie about Islam until they have the advantage. That’s why I don’t trust ANYTHING that comes from a Muslim’s mouth, including what this group declared.
