You've got the right attitude from the onset, "Jesus I Trust in Thee." Keep close to the Lord each day. Take a bit of time to make an assessment, maybe there is another path for you at the present time. Ask God to help you to discern His will for your life going forward.

Take the FReepers in this thread up on their offers of assistance, the Lord works in often mysterious ways. You never now how sending a resume to person A, who happens to know person B, that is in touch with person C, and so forth...

Thank you to everyone again for their quick prayers, personal experiences, good advise, witty comments and PM’s

I made it to adoration yesterday just in time for the hour of mercy and asked Fr. Parker for prayers for myself and everyone looking for work and he asked St. Joseph the patron of the worker to intercede for us.

Last night was my KofC councils(unusually packed) regular meeting, a small group of us say the rosary before each meeting begins and I asked for prayers for myself and everyone that is looking for work, I included everyone here in my private intentions. After the meeting I asked for prayers at the good of the order and during the fellowship afterward I was overwhelmed with several offers of help condolences and many good opportunities as well.

I am continuing to pray for everyone here and am again awed by the mighty power of God to come to our aid in every circumstance.

Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers. It’s not official yet but about two hours ago I made an agreement in principal for a new job.

I have a ton of things to do but I wanted to make a quick post to everyone to show how quickly the Lord works when you ask Him and His friends for help.

Yes, as evidenced by this sincere loving prayerful thread, we are all gathered for you and yours and are earnestly in ALL our prayers.

God, our Father, we turn to You as intercessors for this dear person.
They come to You today with a heavy heart filled with regret, over the past, and anxiety for the future. They are out of work, and their finances are in deep trouble.
We are seeking your divine help and guidance as this person looks for suitable employment. They need your wisdom to guide their footsteps along the right path, and to lead them to find the proper things to say and do in this quest. God, be with them on this quest in finding employment. Lead them to work that they love, and that has value. Guide them toward a good job where they may fulfill their needs as a better and wiser person. Open the right doors for them, please come and direct their path..

Help them to stay positive, hopeful and awake to new possibilities. Give them strength, courage, faith and trust in all that everything is unfolding perfectly for their highest good. Help this family to receive into their lives all the resources that they need … mentally, physically, spiritually, and financially … so that they may experience sufficiency, ease and grace. Lord grant this family knowledge to use the gifts and talents you have given them, but still need the opportunity to do so with gainful employment. In seeing employment may they all be free from fear of lack and limitation.

As it fits your plan ease their mind, filled with anxiety for the future. And lovingly grant this family days of better peace and strength. As they wait Your grace and blessings please grant them an extra measure of patience, endurance and perseverance. Grant them peace of mind, so they can fill their lives with Your goodness and grace.

Lord we know You are able to perform wondrous events. Grant this family the wisdom to understand Your timing. Thank you Lord, for listening to us FReepers and helping this person today. Life is not always easy, but we all will strive to remember that You are always there to help us all… As you are right in this moment. We consider it done, and so it is in You glory. Lord.
