Not this Catholic. Definitely because of his non-Catholic theology.
I say it's due to ignorance...and 50+ years of Vatican II theology.
Yes, there is: an anti-pope.
Says the jackass, showboating, extroverted, buffoon.
I'm a Catholic: olden days, formal Latin Mass, private, introverted, reticent type.
Do you mean like Pope Francis discouraging the Protestant "Bishop", Tony Palmer, from converting to Catholicism?
Or co-authoring a book with Rabbi Skorka or welcoming Muslims to Lampedusa without inviting either to look at Catholicism?
Or stating, "Those that are Christian, with the Bible, and those that are Muslim, with the Quran. The faith that your parents instilled in you will always help you move on.?
I don't think Francis has an "evangelical" bone in his body.
That's laying it on a bit thick.
However, perhaps his abuse of the FFI, Cardinal Burke and others will be instrumental in their journey towards sanctity.
Each temperament has its strengths and weaknesses. No temperament is intrinsically better or worse overall than the others, and it is bad psychology to claim that one is.It is up to each individual to make the most of his temperament's strengths and work on improving his weaknesses.
Introverts are good at being deep and thoughtful. They are serious and purposeful. They often are talented and creative, artistic or musical, philosophic and poetic, appreciative of beauty, conscientious and idealistic. They tend to be schedule oriented, perfectionistic and have high standards, are detail conscious, persistent and thorough, orderly and organized, neat and tidy, and economical.
Mixed value, but worth a read. He's a mainline (liberal) Presbyterian, so some of his recommendations I don't care for.
Pope Francis has said that he does not want a church that is introverted, Monsignor M. Francis Mannion, describing the popes achievements, explained bluntly last July in an article for the Catholic News Agency. Two weeks later in the Los Angeles Times, an admiring Amy Hubbard included in her list of lessons that we should take from Francis: Do not be an introvert. Thats just putrid.
So Roman Catholics have this attitude too. Interesting.
He talks so much. Every day, reams and reams of chatter. So off-putting in a Pope. But unlike Obama-voter and lover, Kathleen Parker, I’m an introvert.
Some of us seem to, but as you can tell from this thread there are those of us who find the command to be messy and extroverted a bit difficult if not impossible.
Seems like the two of you are on the same wavelength. I think a LOT of us, myself included, just haven't gotten over being dumped by BXVI yet.
Traditional Catholics will be traditional Catholics. Leftists will be Leftists. He is the Pope.
I believe he’s a Juan Peron type redristributionist... A peronista. And if he can believe in that sceme anything goes. He needs our prayers.
And Obama is the President.
And Satan exists.
All true statements.
Yes. And it’s due to vincible ignorance, not invincible.
, Pope Francis told a cheering crowd gathered for World Youth Day in Rio de Janeiro”
“I need you to go out and talk to your friends and talk to your neighbors. I want you to talk to them whether they are independent or whether they are Republican. I want you to argue with them and get in their face.”

“...only ignore them...”
yes- we must ignore if we can sand it.
sorry - stand
